The former Helsinki Police Station building was renovated to transform the property into Hotel Lilla Roberts, which opened its doors on 12 August 2015. Hotel Lilla Roberts has received a five-star rating in international search engines, as well as rave reviews from customers.

YIT's Annual Report for 2014 has been published at the company's website www.yitgroup.com/annualreport. The Annual Report consists of the annual review, the report of the Board of Directors and the Financial Statement for 2014. The Annual Report is available in Finnish and in English.

In Finland center of growths are in a constant need of apartments. YIT introduced mini-apartments in Helsinki and they were sold out before completion. The need for small apartment is rapidly increasing; therefore YIT is planning to build similar apartments in other parts of Finland.

General meeting of the Russian Guild of Facility Managers and Developers was held on September 9, 2014 in Moscow. Mikhail Voziyanov, General Director of ZAO "YIT Saint-Petersburg", was unanimously nominated as a President of the Guild for the next two years.

Newsec Asset Management Oy has been chosen to be the Commercial Manager of the shopping and office center Dixi which is under construction in Tikkurila. On the 1st of July 2014, Newsec and YIT have made an agreement on an overall commercial management service package which will cover the first phase of the shopping center part of Dixi, opening at the turn of the year 2014-2015.

YIT starts the construction of a new apartment building project named Park in Moscow Oblast. The project is located in Krasnogorsk city, approximately 4 kilometers from the Moscow ring road. The total value of the project is approximately EUR 60 million, and it is due for completion by the end of 2016.

YIT has started the construction of an eight-storey office building in Lahti in June. The leasable area of the office building named BW Tower is over 7,500 square metres, and it will be completed in autumn 2015.

YIT's housing Project 'Akacijas' was rewarded in a category of "the most energy efficient building in Latvia" contest. The competition is organized by the Ministry of Economics of the Republic of Latvia, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development of the Republic of Latvia and the magazine Buvinzenieris. The competition was organized for the 4th time.

YIT will sell 51 apartments to Ålandsbanken and Avain Asumisoikeus Oy for use as rental and right-of-occupancy housing. The total value of the apartments is approximately EUR 15 million.
